$30.65 to $33.33 per hour

0500 - 1800, including weekends and holidays
Reporting to the Supervisor Scheduling, LTC & Seniors, is responsible for the daily scheduling of large numbers of Long Term Care and Seniors operations staff across multiple scheduling patterns, locations and shifts and collecting and reporting on data, as required; utilizing effectively, the computerized staff scheduling software (Kronos) and other computer systems.
•Schedules, confirms, and verifies the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of all LTC & Seniors operations staff across multiple scheduling patterns, locations and shifts to ensure efficient operations, through the use of specialized computerized scheduling software (Kronos).
•Assigns staff in order to maintain daily operations and to provide coverage for vacation, sick leaves, special events, to attend training or participate in professional development, and provide extra staffing to meet resident needs or in the event of a disaster or contingency situation.
•Maintains the allocation of staff resources, including documentation, record keeping, and data entry using computerized scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
•Collaborates with internal partners and management team to monitor schedules of staff on sick leave or working on modified program to ensure sufficient staffing to meet resident care needs.
•Participates in twice-yearly vacation block booking process.
•Performs regularly scheduled data maintenance procedures.
•Updates staffing schedule with changes in status and assignments.
•Administers the casual availability system through the distribution and collection of casual staff availability through the Staff Kiosk, in order to schedule casual staff.
•Assists the Supervisor with preparing performance reports related to operational scheduling.
•Provides reports on scheduling.
•Responds to inquiries and resolves concerns, as appropriate, from employees, management etc.
•Successful completion of a Secondary School Diploma or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum two (2) years related experience daily scheduling of large numbers of employees for shifts in various locations.
•Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Checks (PVSC).
