Position Purpose

Reporting to the Projects Manager, Information Technology Services (ITS), is responsible for providing client focused business support, project leadership and technology support for the assigned functional area(s). Responsible for supervising the daily operation of the Region’s CRM (on Salesforce platform); leading projects, preparing reports and guidelines, contributing to strategic planning; and providing direction to vendors; working closely with their functional areas to aid in the support of existing systems and the planning and implementation of new systems and system processes.

Qualifications

•Successful completion of a Community College Diploma program in Information Technology or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience in information systems project implementation and support for functional area(s) assigned such as finance, human resources, health, social services, transportation or planning and corporate based processes.
•Minimum five (5) years’ demonstrated experience with implementing, administrating, supporting and configuring a Salesforce environment, design and implement solutions based on the Salesforce platform, including experience with development Salesforce.com applications such as Visualforce, Apex, JavaScript.
•Experience and demonstrated ability with relational databases.
•Demonstrated experience using Web Services to integrate applications.
•Experience in assessing application technology and end user needs and recommending solutions in accordance with Regional strategic direction, including familiarity with PeopleSoft, and relational databases.
•Demonstrated human resource management and staff supervisory experience.
•Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and reliable vehicle for use on corporate business.
•Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including communication, innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and personal ownership.
•Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in assessing application technology and end user needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
•Knowledge of the application development cycle.
•Knowledge of trends in the use of current information technology.
•Project management, presentation, problem solving, and team leadership skills.
•Ability to aid in the design, configuration and implementation of business transaction processes.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion.
•Ability to work outside regular business hours on standby and otherwise as required.

Salary

$98,912- $112,333 annually. This is a Non-Union position.
