Summary
Note: This is an Initiatives/Opportunities full-time position starting January 6, 2020 and ending December 24, 2020 with the possibility of an extension up to a maximum of 24 months.

Duties: Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Enterprise Solutions, the EDI Researcher will support the College’s Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity initiative by coordinating and managing this project; designing and conducting external and internal research; developing strategic recommendations, and supporting the development of a business case in support of this initiative.
 
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification is a post-graduate degree such as a Masters in the Social Sciences or Humanities with a speciality in a related field, e.g., diversity, inclusion, equity, gender studies, or social justice
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience working within a business solutions environment and contributing to research, project management, business case development, and strategy development and implementation
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and workshops
- Experience designing and conducting research studies and projects, and analyzing data and information, to respond to organizational needs for improved decision making
- Superior communication skills and high proficiency with word processing and presentation graphics to prepare reports and disseminate results to key stakeholders
