Academic Part-time Position


We require a qualified individual to teach various courses in Woodworking Technician/Technology & Cabinetmaking Apprenticeship programs.

Candidates must be available to teach up to 6 hours per week, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.


  • Technician or Technology Diploma in post-secondary Wood Processing or equivalent education
  • Cabinetmaker Certificate of Qualification (438A) is considered an asset
  • Minimum of five years of industry experience
  • Experience with:
    • Cabinetmaking, including finishing, with the use of typical woodworking equipment
    • CNC programming and operating for woodworking
  • Knowledge and experience in CAD/CAM, Inventor, Microvellum or comparable software, AutoCAD and Solid Modeling, ERP systems, MS Office suite is an asset
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous adult or post-secondary level technical teaching experience is an asset
