Centennial is also the recipient of four national Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) awards for applied research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
In keeping with Centennial’s strategic plan to Drive Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we are immediately seeking a transformational Executive Director, to lead a high performing team to drive and implement strategies that will continue to fulfill the college’s vision of Transforming lives and communities through learning. Reporting to the AVP, Research and Corporate Planning, the successful incumbent will oversee three institutional portfolios operating across multiple college campuses:
(i) Applied Research and Innovation Centre (ARIC),
(ii) Centre of Entrepreneurship (COE), including the youth startup accelerator (ACCEL), and the recently awarded
(iii) Wearable, Interactive, and Mobile Technologies Access Centre for Health (WIMTACH). Each centre has one or more advisory boards/committees guiding its activities while offering or facilitating multiple programs and services related to ARIES both inside and outside the college community.
The Executive Director will be accountable for overseeing programs and services in complex multi-stakeholder partnerships (faculty, staff, students, community, industry, business partners/clients) with engagement with public and private sectors from ideation to delivery and impact.
