Baycrest@Home is a direct-to-consumer service for family caregivers of older adults with declining cognitive health currently residing at home in the community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help build and manage service offerings on our family caregiver platform. We collaborate with trusted technology partners to design and implement specialized services that support the health and well-being of family caregivers, allowing them to manage complex care for their loved ones at home.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Translate client and business requirements
  • Create and develop experimental service offerings, experience with UX principals such as user stories, persona building, preto/prototype development approaches and information architecture
  • Managing product roadmaps(s) for multiple service portfolios within the Baycrest@Home platform
  • Prepare product launch plan and oversee execution from conception to client adoption
  • Oversee functional, reliability and A/B testing of services prior to deployment into the main platform
  • Management of individual service portfolios, analysis of key performance indicators, client engagement and requirement gathering based on multiple feedback channels
  • Support client and clinical service teams with product training including preparing and maintenance of documentation on services/products
  • Act as product champion and ‘super user’ to Baycrest@Home staff, assisting with local technical support, and remote for deployed services
  • Participate in the selection and procurement of new technologies and service partners


Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • Business or Information Technology Management undergraduate degree
  • A certification in Product Management, Technology Management is an asset (direct experience may be substituted)
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with technology-based products and services, preferably in the healthcare industry and/or the care of older adults
  • Demonstrated significant experience in the management of technology-enabled services, especially in healthcare related fields, may substitute formal qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience project managing technology-related initiatives is necessary
  • Experience with hands-on management of complex and highly-configurable technical platforms strongly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and working with external vendors, overseeing vendor technology teams, including the management of technical requirements is an asset
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is an asset
  • Worked across stages of product development lifecycle with a focus on ideation, development, launch and iteration is an asset
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is an asset
