Summary
Note: This is a part-time Faculty position (up to 6 hours per week).

A part-time Professor at Fanshawe College is responsible for delivering established courses within the Developmental Services Worker Diploma Program in the School of Human Services.
 
Qualifications:
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Combination of excellent clinical and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Innovative and lifelong learner
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with option for both theory and skills delivery and evaluation
- Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years of recent and relevant work experience supporting and caring for adults or children with developmental disabilities
- Significant experience in an inter-professional work environment
- Successful teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Preference will be given to candidates prepared to teach courses specific to developmental disabilities and health
