Monday to Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
 
Summary
Note: This is a part-time temporary position (up to 24 hours per week) until April 13, 2018.

OVERVIEW
Fanshawe College competes in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA). The College maintains competitive status in both associations with the goal of consistently reaching the national championship level.

Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the incumbent provides front-line customer service and reception support for the Athletics and Recreation desk. Coordinates scheduling, assisting and training front desk student staff.

The incumbent also performs general clerical functions including computer work, proof-reading, filing, distribution of mail, schedules, maintains data bases and inventories, monitors gym use, and provides other services in support of the Recreation Program.
 
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS

- 1 year certificate or equivalent in Sports Education or Recreation Leisure Education
- 1 year experience as a front-line person in a customer service-oriented office environment using a wide variety of software packages
- Familiar with sport and recreation equipment and programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Satisfactory completion of a Criminal Records Check including a Vulnerable Sector Screening
