Summary
Note: This is a full-time position (35 hours per week).

Duties: The incumbent is responsible for providing general accounting support to the Financial Services
department including the preparation of financial statements related to externally funded college
initiatives, assisting in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger system(s) and the preparation
of year end binders and schedules.
 
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary 2 year diploma or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Current enrollment in an introductory level of an accredited accounting program leading to a professional accounting designation
- Minimum 3 years Experience in the preparation of financial statements for a multi-faceted organization gained as a team player in a service oriented office environment using computerized financial systems and software packages such as spreadsheets, database management applications and word processing in an educational environment
