Summary
Note: This is a part-time temporary position (up to 24 hours per week) until November 1st, 2019.

Duties: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communication, the Events Coordinator will work with the Corporate Communications Officer, Events, to develop, coordinate and execute corporate events as well as assists other departments in planning a variety of events to ensure that Fanshawe College is presented in a professional, welcoming and positive light with both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Corporate Communications, Event Planning or similar field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate events planning
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Demonstrated experience working independently and solving a wide range of problems
- Ability to work under pressure, handle several projects at once and meet deadlines
- Strong project coordination skills; demonstrated ability in taking initiative and working as a team member
