|Title||Coordinator, Smart Transition Programs|
Student Life, Engagement and Development
(This position is initially open to full time, bargaining unit employees of the college)
Reporting to the Manager, Co-Curricular Student Learning and Development, the incumbent is responsible for designing and facilitating targeted transition programming to equalize capital for equity-seeking students and their supporters in alignment with the student life cycle (in, through, out, and back to the College through PREP, START, STAY, and END Smart respectively). In partnership with the Manager, this responsibility includes all facets of planning, implementation, and assessment of associated programming, as well as the development and delivery of a marketing, media, and communications strategy to ensure adequate promotion and participant engagement. The incumbent will work closely with the Coordinator, Orientation and Transition Programs to ensure that Smart Transition Programs are highly aligned, and loosely coupled with the Experience Centennial: Orientation programming offered at the College for a seamless student experience and to ensure student needs are met in meaningful ways – including the development, facilitation, and advancement of online modules and participation on the College Orientation Coordinating Team (OCT). Given the intersectional identities of the student population, the incumbent will also work closely with other service areas across the College to leverage expertise and ensure continuity between programs.
